Hey iPhone 14 users! Got lines?

On a Reddit thread, numerous iPhone 14 Pro users have reported that green and yellow lines appear on the screen for a few seconds when turning on the device. According to these same users, Apple Support has said the issue is not due to hardware defects, but rather a bug in iOS 16. Reports of the problem have emerged on Reddit, the Apple Support forums (1,2,3), and the MacRumors forum, and some users have claimed the issue began after installing the iOS 16.2 update, while others have reported the issue on older versions of iOS 16. One Reddit user stated that an Apple engineer told them the company is working on a software patch for the issue, but no further details were provided. 

Apple is currently testing iOS 16.3 with developers and public beta testers, but the update is not expected to be released until early next year. The latest version of iOS 16 is iOS 16.2, which introduced several new features such as Apple Music Sing and the Freeform app.
