Ok iPhone, can you do this?

The young crowd primarily was the crowd that flocked to the iPhone as the phone of choice back in 2006.  They made it quite popular.  The buzz was on.  Now the same age group has a new device to set their eyes on, and Sony is not "playing around" (pardon the pun).  Engadget has revealed the photo below, showing a new phone that is sure to create some buzz and an army of Android adopters.  It seem to be running version 2.2 (Froyo) of the Android OS.  We can't wait to see what the phone's specs are but one thing's for sure.  Sony is serious about climbing to the top of the game in the mobile and gaming industry.  Can your iPhone do this?  I have a very open answer: no it can't.  It looks like Sony's after taking a bite out of Apple's profits.  Will you be buying this phone upon its launch?
